Advocates, chapters, and the general public can access policy positions, learn POLICY about related legislation, and take action by visiting AFSPs Action Center and advocacy webpage.Advocacy ForumHeld each June, the annual Advocacy Forum is AFSPs single largest effort to educate federal officials about mental health and suicide prevention. AFSP chapter volunteers and staff gather in Washington, D.C. and visit Capitol Hill to ask members of Congress to support AFSPs federal public policy priorities. State Capitol DaysAFSP organizes State Capitol Day events to rally advocates to share their stories and educate state and local public officials about suicide prevention and mental health.
