Selected writers and reviewers may be drawn from metropolitan and regional areas of NSW and may be required to work in an online environment following initial briefings at BOSTES offices. Writers will be required to give an undertaking that they will maintain confidentiality in relation to the project. BOSTES projects require people with expertise across the industry areas covered by VET Industry Curriculum Framework courses. The BOSTES Statement of Equity Principles and related guiding statements inform project and writing teams of syllabuses, support documents, examinations, assessment guidelines and other relevant educational materials produced by the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW. We are looking for a Special Project Officer who will be responsible for the planning, management, conduct and evaluation of a series of special projects related to the conduct of the Higher School Certificate examinations, in particular the Standards-setting operation, online testing and onscreen marking. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your immediate proficiency in the focus capabilities as highlighted in the role description.
