Ex-Remploy Portsmouth Employees Receive Free First Aid Training Ex-Remploy Portsmouth employees have been learning basic first aid through a free course run by Training Links UK. Friday, April 4, 2014 - 14:27A group of ex-Remploy Portsmouth employees have been learning basic CPR and wound dressing as part of a new first aid course provided by Learning Links’ not-for-profit training consultancy Training Links UK. Since August last year, Learning Links has been helping the ex-Remploy employees through the Connect Club, a social hub that has allowed them to stay in touch and receive help with finding new jobs and improving their employability skills.
In continued support of this group, Training Links and its associates provide learning resources that may benefit the staff members in their job search journey.
One such resource is the new first aid training courses for employees, recently launched by Training Links. The course covers a wide range of useful information, from administering first aid to someone who is unconscious, to recognising the importance of cross infection. Course tutor Yvette Carr said: “The Learners all engaged and stated that they thoroughly enjoyed the day’s course. The first aid training is available to all individuals, whether you want to add it to your CV or you’re an employer looking to train your staff members in safe workplace practices.
