Those on the course should be at Dreen for 9.15 am , wear loose fitting comfortable clothes and bring a packed lunch. A motorcycle-friendly cafe owner in South Australia’s beautiful Clare Valley wine district is backing the First Aid for Motorcyclists course with a free venue, two free courses for riders and even free camping on their property.
Owner Judy Searley is also a registered nurse and believes the specialised course which is touring Australia should be a compulsory part of rider training.
She has booked the course into the Auburn Institute next to her Cogwebs Cafe at 30 Main North Rd, Auburn, on March 5, 2016.
Free camping will be provided at Judy’s property and riders can get directions from her at the cafe. As well as covering the cost of the venue she will repay two rider course fees through a raffle ticket draw at the training day. The First Aid for Motorcyclists course was put together by highly qualified and experienced first aiders Tracy Hughes and partner Roger Fance who sold their house to take the course around the country.
Since their course started in July, they have added about 20 sessions which have been scheduled up until May 2016, including Western Australia. Click here to subscribe to our free weekly newsletter so you never miss out on any of the latest motorcycle news!
