In addition to its preset paint regions, you can doodle on the Metal Wall Sign by "attacking" it with a Paintbrush, which will open the "Apply Paint" Menu. For more information on Paint Regions and how to use them, please view the Dye, Paintbrush, or Spray Painter pages. The Scorpion uses both the "Pulmonoscorpius" and "Pulminoscorpius spellings in-game, depending on where you look.
The Pulmonoscorpius (Pul-mon-oh-skor-pee-us), or simply Scorpion, is one of the creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved.
Wild: I'm not sure why, but the giant scorpions I've seen on the island are far more disturbing than most of the Dinosaurs. Domesticated: Trying to tame a monster like Pulmonoscorpius gigantus sounds like a crazy idea, but I suppose the ability to knock out a foe could come in handy. Known Information: This subspecies has a large pair of pincers that seem connected to the same toxin sacs as the tail. Color scheme information is taken directly from the ARK DevKit and should be deemed correct.
When you tame or kill a new creature, you will get a pop up in which you can see the creature’s dossier. Since it can be difficult to find out which creatures you are still missing, we will provide you with the info and images to make it a lot easier. Besides for showing you the creatures’ dossiers, there are also some other things that the survivor profile is used for. Below you’ll find the dossiers in a table for easy checking (updated up to patch v242).
Names with no additional markup are creatures that you need to tame in order to get the dossier.

You used to get the dossier for the bat (Onyc) and spider (Araneo) by killing it, but since patch v220 they can also be tamed. Xbox users: Since the Xbox patches are a little behind those of the PC, and the events are not yet released there, it can happen that not all of the creatures portrayed are available in your game.
You’re right about the image, however the table is up to date with the latest patch (v236, includes the Castoroides). Then, click and drag your cursor over the 3D model (like a paintbrush) to draw anything you want. For the sake of consistency, this wiki uses the Pulmonoscorpius spelling, as this is the way it is spelled in the dossier and the spelling of the real-world counterpart.
Rather than simply kill its prey, Pulmonoscorpius gigantus injects its victims with a tranquilizing poison, then eats its unconscious prey alive.
I've never seen another scorpion that has this adaptation, but I've never seen another scorpion that is larger than I am, either.
It has a glossy chitinous exoskeleton and, uniquely, a pair of venom sacs stored within its pincers; between these and the one that makes up its fearsome stinger, the creature can inject other animals with a potent paralytic neurotoxin. For demonstrative purposes, the regions below are colored red over an albino Pulmonoscorpius. These dossiers are saved in your Survivor Profile that you can access from the in-game menu (Esc on PC).
First of all you can find a table that explains which creatures you need to kill, tame or need special actions. On PC for example, you will get the Veteran Paleontologist achievement when you have found all dossiers.
If you want to see the actual dossiers, you can find an image a little further down the article.

You can download it on Google Play here (Android), or get it from the App Store here (iOS)! The Dunkleosteus is in the list, however I haven’t had time to extract its icon from the game files yet. It feeds only on decomposed meat, preferably that which its venom has rendered from its tranquilized victims. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Pulmonoscorpius will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. A little further you will find an image of the completed Survivor Profile that you can use to check for the ones you are still missing. In the Xbox version, you will receive the Bionic Rex skin (and the Survivor’s trophy and Survivor’s hat), so what are you waiting for?
If you only want a specific creature for the dossier, it is advised to try a low level one as it will massively bring down the time it will take to tame. It lurks in caves around the island, as well as the rocky terrain around the bottom of mountains, though the latter is much less common. If you are too far away, the creature will be tamed by you, but you wont get the dossier and have to tame one again!
