In accordance with the CSU-AAUP Contract (Article 5.10), the President of the University will return the Resolution to the President of the Senate within 15 school days of the receipt of the Resolution.

Faculty Referendum on Senate Action

 

 

VI B. A Faculty Referendum on Senate Action

Presently it reads: The Elections Committee shall conduct the

referendum, with 50% plus one of the total faculty required for

rescinding any Senate action.

 

The following is the new motion:

The Elections Committee shall conduct the referendum with a minimum of

240 faculty votes or 50% plus one of those voting, whichever is

greater, required for rescinding any Senate action.
