For the longest time I had no idea why people were placing #streaking hashtags behind their posts on Twitter or Instagram. Finally, after piecing together many hashtags, I realized I need to do some streaking myself! As another fun way to keep myself on track, I’m teaming up with some great bloggers to bring you a Fall Fitness Challenge! Post to Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with the hashtag #FFFChallenge and join us for the Friday Fall Fitness Challenge link-up!

I have had a post planned about financial incentives for a while, but that one got pushed aside because DietBetter has been branching out beyond the DietBet, and it’s really fun and exciting! In the past, you had to put your money on the line to experience the awesome community and support of DietBetter. Creating a DietBet account has always been free, and now you can create blog posts and join groups to get support from others like you! Now I can get the same support that I love in the games, but in groups with a specific topic! I’ve started a couple to connect with other Moms, share inspiration, quick workouts, and great recipes. With the Fit Moms, Fit Kids group I’m looking forward to connecting with other moms who want to stay healthy and model healthy habits for their kiddos. I also love having a place to share all of the things I come across that motivate me and inspire me to keep going and push harder in the Motivation and Inspiration Group. Are you thinking of checking it out now that you can get all this awesome support for free? Is making fitness fun and social a philosophy you can get behind, and do you like helping others reach their goals while building a sense of community and your brand?
There is a psychological advantage to starting a diet at the beginning of the week, so it stands to reason that most people would like to join a DietBet that begins on a Monday, or even a Sunday.
Now that you’ve created an amazing group interested in helping each other reach their goals, why stop now?
So, while I receive nothing from sharing my posts with you, I’d be thrilled to talk to anyone who would like help hosting a game and maybe we can end up working together!

So before we ditch the party and miss out on hearing from all of you each week, we thought we’d open up the option of more co-hosts, specifically, people to promote the party, visit links and comment, and someone who would like to take over features each week. When I was activity promoting the party and had more time to shoutout features and links, the party was getting over 1000 views, so with a little help we could get a lot more exposure for all of us. A The couple - whose on-off relationship has been well-documented on the reality show - have been together since 2006.Scott was seen on Friday leaving the Montage Hotel ahead of a retail therapy outing with Kim at the Sports Limited store in Los Angeles - all while cameras rolled for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
For years people have endorsed cardio as the best way to lose weight and get healthy, however that may no longer be the case. No part of this publication may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means without written permission from the author.
This is something that I happily do now, but it took me about a month or two to finally take that leap and join a game.

I think they usually lead to more, you’re more likely to do them because everyone can find 10-minutes, and they allow you to be impulsive and just get started instead of planning a workout. The exception being the beginning of a month since many times that will signal a fresh start as well. These games last four weeks, and the Transformers last 6 months, so it helps to look ahead because your players likely will. Whether you are a fit foodie, have an arsenal of awesome workouts, or are a great motivator, there is a reason people joined your bet.
This is great because you can start to share revenue from Dietbetter’s portion of the pot.
I’ve been passionate about Dietbetter since I started joining games a year ago and have mentioned it quite a few times on the blog with no compensations.
With everything going on I didn’t get a chance to put together features this week, but I will be going through the last couple weeks and pinning to the Tips and Tricks Tuesday Pinterest board to see if your post was featured there! I created a Quick and Easy Workouts group to share shorter workouts, so I’m looking forward to finding some inspiration for spontaneous workouts here. To increase your chances of having a larger game, it would make since to pick the week with less games starting.
I know I am more likely to chose a game that ends just before a holiday rather than just after.
It’s also important to make sure your name draws people in, but also has mass appeal. Two things: People tend to look at the size of the pot before considering the size of the bet (at least I do). So, if you have something to offer (product you sell, ebook, etc), offer to give something away to motivate your players to help promote your game. The hardest part, coming from someone who watched for months before committing to spending the money, is jumping in and setting up that account. Use your strengths to keep players engaged and promote the building of an awesome supportive community.
So, if you did your job and made it a fantastic experience, they’ll follow you into the next game and your following can grow. Kristin is doing awesome with her Beachbody coaching, and I am trying to find time to devote to a new site (a project I’m so excited about, but I need contributors if you’re interested!
If you’d like more info about how that works, please email me at kristin(at)dietbetter(dot)com! Also, larger bets add up quicker and games, for the most part, are listed in order of the size of the overall pot.
It’s also a win for you since you have the ability to drive players to your site and engage players who may not be familiar with your brand. There are a ton of different special talents that would be helpful and the time committment is very minimal – check it out! From my completely informal research, $35 seems to be that magic higher number that people are still comfortable with betting.
