Certain food groups (like grains, dairy and legumes) are probably having a negative impact on your health and fitness without you even realizing it.


The Whole 30 is a month long program that restricts (ugh, I hate that word) eating processed junk, artificial sugars, and alcohol. It’s designed to help you figure out what foods trigger negative health effects in your body like acne, bad digestion, or migraines. The writers’ of the Whole 30, plus several of my Twitter and Facebook friends that know nutrition, love the program. While there are not specific meal plans to the Whole 30, there are amazing blogs out there with recipes, tips, and testimonials. After my workout, I ate the rest of the apple and another tablespoon of the sunflower butter. My hope for the Whole 30 is to limit my sugar cravings to a couple times a week and bump up my fitness results. I’m really intrigued by this program and am looking forward to hearing your review of it.
