Eating low carb is not for everyone, but I find that approximately 70% of the clients I interact with in my profession do much better on a low carb diet.  The benefits range from optimizing fat loss, and improved sleep and well being, to boosting energy levels. My last blood labs showed ideal fasting insulin, fasting glucose, A1c, triglycerides, HDL, and perfect levels of all the sex hormones. I plan to implement more walking and other slow, aerobic training (as per Mark Sisson), and trying not to go too nuts on the glycogen depleting workouts (even though I love them).
