So I started slow-went from bacon to turkey bacon, eggs to egg whites, white bread to wheat or whole grain- fruit snacks to dried fruit- yogurt to greek yogurt…. Then I learnt about clean eating and it helped A TON for me to learn, what foods did what for my body, what foods to avoid, and what foods that are GOOD for you even though they are a “fat” food! I decided to create an easy way to check off what I usually buy at the grocery store so I stop forgetting to buy what I need. I started by making 52 copies of my weekly meal planner and grocery list so it would last a year. I used a knife to score the cardboard so I would have straight lines and so it would wrap around the stack of paper. I wrapped it around and adhered it with E6000 glue.  I placed the binder clip over the cardboard until the glue was dry.

I’m actually excited to create my grocery list for the week and plan our family dinners this week! Once I gathered all my materials, this was really easy to make and all together cost less about $5 because I had the scrapbook paper, glue, and cardboard. I hope this project helps you stay organized and save time when it comes time to planning your weekly meals and do your grocery shopping!! TIP: Adding a little spice is an easy way to eat flavorful (but healthy) food because spices are calorie-free.

TIP: Use low sodium broth or other broths with the lowest salt content possible so that you can adjust the salt amounts yourself. Because I did not know much about “healthy food” the biggest and best for healthy was grilled chicken salad (yes with cheese and croutons) BUT to my surprise, the toppings on your salad plus dressing is what makes it worse than some other options out there!!!! Love this idea, I’ve printed one off and plan to print more and bind it all together once I gather all the supplies!
