On Extreme Weight Loss on ABC tonight, the episode focused on the year-long weight loss journey that Jenn, of Jennifer Snell, from Cody, Wyoming, a mother of two children who also has a terminally ill husband, undertook.
Snell will be spending the next 90 days on Extreme Weight Loss with Chris and his wife, Heidi, at eh Colorado Boot Camp.
Back from a break on Extreme Weight Loss, Chris Powell pressed her and she exercised her heart out.
Chris asked her to lose 55 pounds for her Phase II Weight-Loss Goal on Extreme Weight Loss. When Extreme Weight Loss returned from the break, the entire community of Lovell, Wisconsin were gathered to see Snell come back after the 90 Days.
On Extreme Weight Loss, Snell told them that Boot Camp was hard, harder than she ever had thought that it would be. When Snell arrived back home on Extreme Weight Loss, her husband, Dan, had the house fairly clean. Snell did not want to leave her husband while he probably would need to undergo surgery, but she said that he would probably not forgive her unless she went, because she had worked and trained so hard for so long to take part in the half marathon.
On Extreme Weight Loss, Chris told the camera that he was so proud of Snell, but when he saw Dan in his motorized scooter, he could see how Dan’s health had gone down a lot in a short time. On Extreme Weight Loss, the day came for Snell to run the Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon.
At the end of the year-long weight-loss journey on Extreme Weight Loss, Chris Powell addressed the audience gathered to see Snell.
Chris said if the scale said 185 pounds or less, she would have made her year-long goal, the most important one.
After the commercials on Extreme Weight Loss, Snell took a deep breath and got on the scales. Cassie is a 39-year-old woman who gained almost 200 pounds when she gave up her son for adoption at the age of 21.

About halfway through her journey, Cassie gets to meet her son and it’s a wonderful moment for the both of them. Cassie not only has to reconnect with her son and face her own problems, she also has to address issues she has with her husband Ryan. Cassie originally fell in love with Ryan because he was funny and showed her a ton of affection. When Cassie leaves for her transformation, her husband promises to stop drinking and says he’s on board with her.
Just when we thought all was lost, a romantic trip really opened the couples’ eyes and Ryan turned his life around, supporting his wife. In her letter to Extreme Weight Loss, Cassie reveals that she often watches the show while stuffing her face with junk food.
NFL legend Donald Driver comes on as a guest trainer to help Cassie with her transformation. Dale, age 42, lost a total of 93 pounds and went from a body fat percentage of 44% to 6% thanks to P90X and other Beachbody programs. Ty is a 19 year old 480 lb baseball player who currently holds his high school all time home run record.

Ty eventually reaches out to Chris and Heidi and at their meeting he reveals that while at home he put 40 lbs back on within the first month.
Charita is a 32 year old hair stylist weighing in at 310 lbs and believes high school cheerleading were her glory days. While her adoptive parents showed her love, Meredith always felt like she was unworthy of it.
Chris Powell, the show’s host, gave her the initial goal to lose 80 pounds of weight.
Mackenzie, her sister gave Meredith a difficult time, however, wondering why they should get rid of the cookies and other junk food in the house. Meredith’s weight dropped off quickly initially, with the help of Chris, and her parents also encouraged her on.

Chris knew that Meredith was a big fan of Baywatch, and he thought that a nice run in the sand might remind her of the show.
Meredith didn’t give up on her dream to lose enough weight to reach her desired goal, though.
Chris wanted to address all of Meredith’s problems, not just her weight, but also ┬áthe emotional and psychological ones that caused her to turn to food to fill a void in her life. Meredith said that she might try to contact her birth mother at some later time, but she wasn’t ready to do so yet.
At the first weigh-in, Meredith made her goal of 80 pounds, and even lost four more, for a total of 84 pounds lost. Chris was proud of Meredith, and she was proud of herself, but then Chris announced the next goal for her to meet: 50 more pounds in the next 30 days. Meredith looked kind of shocked, but she boldly accepted the challenge, and began rigorously training and running to be able to compete in the 26.2 mile race that spans two countries, America and Canada.
Meredith kept on training anyway, but took it a little easier on her knee by not running as much. Meredith traveled to Chris and Heidi’s house in Arizona to be there as she wrote the letter. As Meredith read the information, she seemed to look more accepting of the entire situation. Another really great moment in this episode was when Chris said that he had a surprise for Meredith.
Though her knee was in pain, Meredith decided to go ahead and run the Niagara Falls International Marathon, anyway.
Chris Powell joined her, and they ran side-by-side, with Chris encouraging her all the way.
At the final weigh-in of the show, Meredith hit her goal exactly — she weighed 155 pounds. It was a fantastic episode — if you missed it, I hope you set your DVRs to record it.
She desperately wanted to loss the extra weight that she had gained as she turned to overeating to find a sense of comfort, so that she would be healthy for her kids. Chris called her up and told her he was going to take her and her entire family to Disneyland, and he said her Milestone would be running the Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon there. Chris told her she needed to lose more weight to be considered for the skin reduction surgery, but then he said for them all to go and enjoy riding the rides. She said that a woman running by tapped her on the shoulder and said she was proud of her, because she had rheumatoid arthritis, like her husband had. He told them that she had blamed herself for her brother’s death, and she turned to food. Chris asked her what they were about, and she said that her husband had three auto-immune diseases. She had lost the weight to be around for her kids and husband, but she found out a lot about herself, in the process. She weighed in at 182, having broken her year-long weight-loss goal, having lost 160 pounds in all. Snell had to struggle to not only lose weight and keep on going, but she also had to face the death of her younger brother, facing her father, and taking care of her terminally ill husband and her children.
Subliminal suggestions for deep relaxation and positive change will be received by your subconscious, increasing your level of energy, helping you stay dedicated to working out, and improving your self-confidence. Follow her on her journey to find her long lost son, rebuild a connection with her husband, and learn to love herself. Since they got married, Cassie said he changed – he got selfish, he only works about 15 hours a week, he drinks, and he usually just does what he wants to do. Ryan says that he would change it if he could and Cassie became a hermit since Ryan betrayed their vows. Upon her return home, she finds the house a terrible mess, beer in the fridge, and garbage everywhere.
Chris Powell then decides to surprise Cassie with a hidden camera instead of just showing up at her house the old-fashioned way. Driver is a retired wide receiver, a former contestant on Dancing With The Stars, and a talented author. Your Facebook name, photo & other personal information you make public on Facebook will appear with your comment, and may be used on ABC's media platforms.
After sitting down with him and Chris, Ty agrees to meet Brian in AZ to begin training after a month visit home to Oklahoma. With only 3 months left, the only remaining option is to move in with Chris and Heidi so they can help him reach his goal of 299 lbs.

She wanted to lose weight so badly that she had her goal weight she wanted to reach tattooed on her stomach: 155, along with the words mentioned above.
Meredith felt like she wasn’t getting enough support, so Chris decided to move into the house with them and help her train, like he usually has done in past episodes. Chris believed that Meredith needed to do that in order to move on with her life and to not let the past influence her any longer.
Chris had discovered the address of Meredith’s birth mother, and had it sent as a certified letter.
That was at least in part due to her injured knee, though it didn’t look good as to if she would be able to compete in the International. She read that her mother had given birth to her when she was fairly young, and Meredith could understand why she wouldn’t have been able to financially handle having baby.
The surprise was that he’d brought Nicole Eggert, one of the stars of Baywatch, to meet her. Her mother and father were very happy for her, and her sister, Mackenzie, said she was proud of Meredith, also. Snell, who initially weighed in at 342 pounds at the start of the show, knew that she needed help, so she wrote a letter to Chris and Heidi Powell, the transformational coaches who are the co-hosts of Extreme Weight Loss. She said that her husband suffered from three different diseases taht attack the immune system of a person’s body. He wanted her to lose 92 pounds or more in the next three months, and weigh in at 250 pounds or less. She said they were going to give Jenn and her family a vacation together with their kids to Disneyland. Snell pushed it as she got to the finish line, and her husband was standing there, waiting for her. Chris told the camera that with that night’s weigh-in, he hoped that she had broken the 40 percent mark. She said that the rejection she had felt because he was not around as she was growing up had not been real. Dealing with any one of those things would be a struggle for anybody, but dealing with them all together, in the span of a year’s time, must have been extremely difficult for Snell, but she stayed the course and made it all the way to the end of the year, meeting and breaking her final weight loss goal. Through her transformation, Cassie does get to meet her son and it’s a very emotional moment for her.
In addition, Cassie tells Ryan that she fell in love with the man he could be, but he never evolved into the man she had envisioned. Cassie has reached her breaking point with her husband because he didn’t even put food in the house that she could eat.
While watching what she thinks is just a regular episode of the show, things get a little strange when Powell starts talking to Cassie through the television.
Unfortunately the surgeon doesn't believe her 124 pound weight loss is enough, she needs to be down to 165 to qualify.
They ran on the same beach that Meredith had had problems running on earlier in the episode. Her parents got divorced, and her stepdad would not let her or anyone else have anything to do with her real dad. She had lost a little over 39 percent of the weight she needed to lose during Phase III, 14 additional pounds; but, Chris said that was not enough for the surgeon to consider her as a candidate.
But, she pushed though her pain, and her parents joined her for the last few miles of the race.
As the years have passed, however, she fears dying in her house and wasting her life away on her couch.
She now wants to be an active and involved mother to her three sons but the weight is keeping her from it. She said she had written a letter to God, asking Him to take her instead, and bring back her brother. So Chris and Heidi bring her to Arizona to fix the gap in her teeth (it was bothering her, not them), to boost her confidence a little more. Plus she gets a surprise visit to the recording studio to meet her favorite group TGT (Tyrese, Genuine, and Tank).
He reveals to Chris and Heidi that he wants to go home and be a normal 20 year old college student.
