I've still got 23 more lbs to go by July 18th and the weight is coming off slower and slower but Im excited to see where Im going to be. Tuesday, Thurday, Saturday, -30 minutes Stationary bike workout : 4minute warmup, 1 min of going the fastest I can, 2 minute cool down, repeat 1min fast, 2min slow, up until you get to 26 minutes and then cool down for the last 4 minutes.
Before going out to eat go online and find out what items on the menu fit within your calorie limit. Remember 30 minutes isn't really a long time to dedicate to your health and fitness and as time goes by your healthier food options become a new kind of normal and you wont have to work so hard at it. Im hoping to loose another 8 to 10 pounds by the end of this month so check back in a month and see how Im doing in my next weight loss post. Im a mom of two boys and a baby girl and I have been married to the love of my life for thirteen years.
Not only would these look great on any wall but they would make great gifts to close family members. AS a mom on a budget Im always on the lookout for those great gifts that really show that you care but goes easy on my wallet. I don't know about you but its all things Lego Star Wars with my seven and eight year old. I started a Gluten Free Pinterest board if you want to get some idea of what I might be eating. November 5, 2012 by wendy nielsen 9 Comments Eight weeks ago, almost forty-five brave and amazing women sent me a photo of themselves on a scale to kick off the Let’s Get Physical weight loss challenge! I want to congratulate Julie (top left), Jessica (top right), Jackie (bottom left), and Linda (bottom right) for their commitment to the Let’s Get Physical challenge! Did you know we were giving away cash money to the first, second, and third place winners of this challenge?
What I need to get through my thick skull is that whatever method I chose, it’s going to be hard. Coming up later this week, I will debut a series called Breast Cancer 101 on Thursday and this weekend a little sneak peek at what I’m working on outside of the blogosphere.

May 7, 2012 by wendy nielsen 2 Comments I had my first meeting with a trainer at my gym this weekend. May 1, 2012 by wendy nielsen 25 Comments It’s Tuesday, May 1st and I’m thrilled to officially kick off the #iwillrockthis weight-loss challenge! We didn’t get back into work until Wednesday and the roads were still pretty bad then! I never thought that just eating a packed lunch every day could make this big of a change on the scale. Whether youa€™re a new Bodyblade user or longtime fan, youa€™ll experience a new approach to fit and losing weight. This morning the Let’s Get Physical group must submit their first weigh-in since their starting weights were recorded. It was a genius move considering the last time I took this class, I stupidly stood so far from the doors that I would totally have to do the walk of shame to get out of there. My husband works in healthcare and has to be there no matter what, so guess who gets to drive him? Luckily, it mostly all melted off while I was at work that day, because I also had a dentist appointment that afternoon. I made this on Tuesday night so my husband wouldn’t have to cook when he came home from work (for a change).
I’ve seen a recipe going around Pinterest and pinned it after I saw a variation of it on My Fitness Pal as well. I know I haven’t lost a ton of weight so far, but this week proves what you eat does make a change. I’m doing pretty good on the motivation part, although I get grumpy from time to time! Because it was supposed to go with my pork chop and black bean and corn salsa, but somehow it got mixed up and slipped in with the pizza. Its a great way to get custom workouts just for you and your specific needs and not have to leave home to do it.

But before we even got to the actual exercise part of our meeting we talked at length about my goals, my history, and what I’m doing now. Last time I weight this much last year I was so focused on just on the scale and sometimes I would only eat like 900 calories a day all week long.
I have long wished to become a morning person because the thought of it sounds good but morning just aren’t for me. However, I bought it for a different recipe that I am going to include next week, so get ready for that! I didn't think I really looked different until I looked up my before pictures I took two months ago, to do this post and as I started putting the pictures side by side and equaling the scale of me in the photo I got the biggest grin on my face.
The third was a total fluke, a salad made up of leftovers: lettuce, grilled sausage, and avocado. First, if you have a small family like we do, just two of us, it really helps make smaller portions. Second, adding Miracle Whip did not change the overall health value too much, so I didn’t cry about it. I splashed it with some Trader Joe’s champagne vinaigrette and decided after that I could have totally done without the dressing because the avocado was the star. Anyway, I made it there a little closer to 8:40am and did my time on the treadmill for a good 40 minutes. Somedays I’ll sip on a liter bottle of Evian (yes, I’m fancy like that) but it takes me ALL day! Second, it cooked those pork chops in less than 4 hours until they were falling off of the bone. Third, I wish I had used the MUSTARD in the recipe, because it was a pretty boring egg salad. Fruit roll-ups, frozen yogurt topped with peanut butter cups, soda, and graham crackers (not my favorite but hey I was desperate…I threw out everything else in my pantry). Or maybe I should stay away from all that animal fat in the Paleo diet and go for a plant-based diet instead (which I’ve tried and failed, naturally).
I dumped the corn and beans in with them, added a little water, a little pepper, and some garlic, and they were delicious! I added a bit of dill to it, and a few other spices (no salt), and while it tasted FINE, it was a bit boring to me. As I headed back to the locker room, I noticed a bunch of people waiting for a group class to begin. I think I will keep this recipe around, and play with some spices to see if I can get it to taste a bit better. I moseyed over to check the schedule and on a total whim decided I’d take the class too.
