External Access Links

Clarity now has the ability to make "External Access Links", which can show your Model Metrics data within outside dashboards or portals.

This covers the following Model Metric graphs:

A Single Model's Metric Over Time
The project model metric summary page
The Model Metric Scatter Plot

To do so, you must be a Project Coordinator or higher role.

On the Single Model Metric screen, click in the upper left corner:

On the project model metric summary page, and on the Scatter-Graph, click the pencil-and-checkbox

icon in the upper right, and choose "Get External Link".

Once you have the link, you can use the link to embed within systems like the BIM360 ProjectHome/Insights page, Microsoft Teams, etc.
(NOTE: BIM360 may require that your Clarity Server URL be white-listed by Autodesk - contact spg@rand.com for assistance with this).

BIM360 integration is done with the "Partner Card" within the card library.

Managing External Access Links

External Access Links provide ongoing, non-authenticated visibility to model metrics. If you would like to see and manage the External Access Links that have been setup within your firm, go to the Server/Authentication/External Access page. Here you can review, visit and delete the links in question.
