Revit Worksets enable you to reduce the loading time of a Revit model, and control the visibility of different sections of a model or its links. In Clarity, historically, the task server would always force all worksets to be opened in order to ensure full visibility for tasks (such as PDFs).
Starting in Clarity 2019.1, Clarity enables you to control which worksets are opened when a model is opened to perform tasks. This capability is only available in selected tasks, and there are several nuances to the effects of how tasks may be combined.
To choose specific worksets for a particular task, click ... next to the Worksets field.
The worksets configuration dialog enables you to choose worksets in different ways. The Basic tab presents a list of known worksets, but only if you have run the RevitDBExport task on the project. Select ALL, NONE, or the set of worksets to specify when opening.
On the Advanced Tab, you can use wildcards to determine which worksets will be opened. You can use "*" as the wildcard character. It is also possible to have a NEGATIVE statement by using the "!" sign at the front of a line, to indicate the opposite.
