"simply believe, don't doubt anything.
you're alive, believe in that. let go of the idea that the path

How many women worry about breast cancer? Every woman I know feels anxious while waiting for the results of her breast exam or cervical PAP smear cancer screening results. Although there is no perfect breast screening technology, I do encourage all women to do self breast exams monthly and to get regular well woman check ups annually.
If you have a history that requires more frequent exams, get them. They may save your life or at least allow you discover health issues early and still have the choice of Integrative Care that includes Natural Medicine.
We don't just want to be in a disease model...looking for problems....We actually want to be causing and creating health which happens every single day, woven into the way we live.
Lifestyle choices which include self care, food and diet, rest, exercise, sleep, time with loved ones, reflective down time with ourselves...in other words...."How We Care For Ourselves"...have more impact on health than any medicine, natural or pharmaceutical, ever will. That is why I talk and write so much about all of these issues. Most of these healthy habits don't cost any money, but they do require the allocation of time. So we have to CHOOSE to give ourselves time for our own health and well being. That might just be hiding in the bathroom or the car for 10 minutes to check in with ourselves being certain we know the truth of our own hearts. Or writing a 3 line poem at the end of the day to capture a moment of gratitude which turns us inward and opens our hearts. Keep a little book and at the end of the year you might have a little book of poems!!
Most of us live in cultures which still encourage and reward women for taking care of others first and ourselves last. We must do to ourselves what our culture does to us. Choose to take care of yourself too!!! Make your own self care part of your everyday life. If you can brush your teeth twice a day, you can pick another self nourishing habit into your life.
