Albert and Friends Instant Circus Hoxton Hall Saturday Takeover

Drop in workshops: Free | Evening Cabaret £2


The Rosebowl and Albert and Friends Instant Circus collaborate for a day of circus activities and a captivating evening cabaret for all the family to enjoy.
With an open workshop between 2 and 4pm in our beautiful theatre. Anyone is free to come in and have a go.

Doors to the evening cabaret will open at 7pm, with the performance starting at 7.30pm. Find out more

Access all Areas' talented Rainbow Theatre company use world war 2 as the backdrop of a forbidden love story. We surround ourselves in shoes to tell the tale of being head over heels in love, putting your best foot forward and to take a walk on the wild side when we ask, would you walk a mile in my shoes? Tomax talks presents 'Cabaret: Past, Present and Future'

ToMax host whacky, vibrant evenings of talks by leading-lights.
On 11th April, ToMax hosts an evening about Cabaret at Hoxton Hall. Covering topics such as, where did Cabaret come from and how has it developed? what are Cabaret artists up to now? how has the art-form been used for subversion and biting satire in Germany and France? Willy Moon

Willy is 21, and whip-smart with a tinder-dry sense of humour. He doesn't blend different sounds; he smashes them together to hear what kind of noise they make. Sunday Driver

Cambridge and London-based 7-piece Sunday Driver are well known for their experimentation with new sounds, fusing the best of British acoustic music with traditional Indian rhythms and melodies. In 2011 the band opened the Cambridge Folk Festival, touring in Germany, the US and UK, and supporting The Levellers and Raghu Dixit. Find out more

Karima Francis

A young singer/songwriter from Blackpool, Karima was originally a drummer and backing vocalist for alternative/indie band Litterbug. The change of direction has revealed a singer of enormous range and power who has been likened to a young Joan Armatrading. Karima has toured extensively, both as a headline act and in support of other musicians including Seth Lakeman and James Morrison. Find out more

At 128 Hoxton Street (next door to Hoxton Hall) we have 2 desk spaces available. Sharing with product designers, an illustrator and comms specialist, the studio is on the ground floor of Hoxton Works, a block of creative studios, owned and managed by Hoxton Hall. The studio has lots of natural light from windows and a large skylight and is very secure.
