Urbanism - A Hoxton Select Season
Hoxton Hall is delighted to invite you to the launch of the Urbanism Season on August 21st from 6pm. There will be music, dancing, cabaret, a raffle, drink, and a mass participation outdoor workshop. Come! It’s free and you can bring up to 5 guests – just email kirsty@hoxtonhall.co.uk with a list of names so we can get an idea of numbers.
Urbanism is a diverse performance season exploring urban culture and summer in the metropolis. The main show in the season is a reworking of Ben Jonson's The Alchemist - opening on 24 August, details below.

The Alchemist, opening on 24 August
24 August - 10 September, Tuesday - Saturday evenings 8pm, Sunday at 6pm
Tickets: £12.50, £10 concessions. Season special offers are available.
Disaster strikes. London is nearly deserted. Bad luck for some.... but for others, it’s too good to be true.
Ben Jonson’s classic masterpiece takes a ruthless and hilarious look at the tendency in us all to belive the outlandish and the unlikely in pursuit of our wildest dreams.
Firehouse and Hoxton Hall have joined forces to stage a reworking of this classic text, using true stories from the local community. From these stories will come a new version of The Alchemist - one that belongs firmly to Hoxton.
