Nonetheless, it would take 20 minutes of moderately-paced crunches each day just to burn 100 calories.
While keeping your head and neck in-line with your torso, lift your body to no more than 45 degrees. When your muscles are fatigued, cross your upper leg over your bottom leg, bending your knee and setting the foot of your upper leg on the floor.
Crunches are not a very efficient workout for burning calories, but it is an effective workout for building strength in the abs. Then, point the foot on your bottom leg and slowly pulse the leg up and down until you reach exhaustion.
