Maybe some people here already tried one of them, or can help me out to create a good plan for this month. I had been introduced to a new diet my friend Danny Ball had been doing, after seeing how dramatic the results he was getting were (losing over 2 stone in 2 months) I decided to try it out and see if It worked on me, operation rapid fat loss began!
As the days went by in the first month of the diet I noticed that every time I updated my Facebook status with how much I was losing I got several comments asking how I was losing that much weight and even more private messages asking if I could help them do the same. So many people who want to lose weight do it the hard way, they think you need to work your butt off, have amazing self control, patience and self discipline. A little while ago in June 2011 one morning after a martial arts session my friend Danny started talking to me about a principle called the minimum effective dose and explained how he is going to start a new diet to move from 203Lb to 175lb. To remove stored fat by doing the least amount possible to trigger a fat loss cascade of specific hormones. Men's Health investigates a weird fat loss solution that is quickly gaining popularity in the USA and around the world. The first important thing to note is that the calorie surplus to gain muscle is very, very small when compared to the calorie deficit required to lose fat. Advanced bodybuilders with low bodyfat (under 8%).Your body needs some fat so when you get to a certain point, your body will start choosing to burn muscle instead of fat if you have a caloric deficit. From those comments it gave me the idea to teach would be dieters how to experience near unbelievable results in the fastest and easiest way possible. Although Danny trained at the gym regularly and trained martial arts, he had been overweight for a number of years and constantly complained about not being happy with his body. When I asked him how he did it I thought it must have been a mixture of eating one stick of celery a day, 23 hours in the gym, taking fat loss pills and maybe training under a waterfall in the mountains with Shaolin monks.
Common wisdom is that you have to gain some fat to gain muscle, its the whole bulking and cutting mentality. To keep you alive, your body needs two things, plain energy to burn in the form of carbs or fat and then amino acids in the form of protein.
Cardio will not burn muscle, it will help you gain muscle while losing fat at the same time. If you are 8% bodyfat and want to get down to 4-6% bodyfat you wont be able to add muscle while you do this, at best you can do is to maintain your muscle mass.
I still find it really cool how a small change in diet can lead to such a massive difference in weight loss and fat loss. Now, your first thought is probably that it can’t be done because to gain muscle, you have to eat 100 calories more per day and to lose fat, you have to eat 400 calories less per day.
