How much is too much water, best ways to lose belly fat quickly - For Begninners

A few years ago Heinz Valtin, a kidney specialist from Dartmouth Medical School, wanted to know if the common advice to drink eight, eight-ounce glasses of water per day could hold up to scientific scrutiny.
In fact, he found that drinking this much or more “could be harmful, both in precipitating potentially dangerous hyponatremia and exposure to pollutants, and also in making many people feel guilty for not drinking enough. If you are peeing a lot, make sure you’re getting adequate salt into your diet, too (as over-hydration means we have an imbalance of our salt to water ratio). Robin, as a medical professional I wish that you would add an important tidbit in case somebody Googles drinking too much water and stumbles upon your entry. For me, I like to read as much information as possible… see as many view points as possible. I already had a suspicion because I was recently following the daily routine of an asian specialist for colon surgery – and was puzzled at how little water he drunk. When I went on a raw food diet for 6 months I rarely needed to drink at all as I got all the water I needed from my food but I did go even more often than usual which is one of the reasons I gave up the diet. Lets pretend YOU are a cell to understand this better… water intoxication of the cell is basically the same thing as you drowning in fresh water. If your brain tissues swell, it can cause seizures, coma and and even death unless water intake is controled and a hypertonic saline (salt) solution is given to the water logged drunk If you can manage to get treatment before tissue swelling causes too much cellular damage, then you can expect a full recovery within a few days.
Here is the brass tacks: it IS possible to drink too much water, but unless you are beer bonging water or you’re a six month old kickin back too many bottles (and if thats true, congrats on learning to read at such an early age!
Make a fresh fruit seltzer (add fresh fruit or 2 oz 100% fruit juice to seltzer water or plain water). Carry a water bottle with you everywhere you go (in a purse, in a backpack, in the car, to work, school, etc.).

That first picture of the colorful fruit-filled water glasses is gorgeous and making me thirsty! Generally speaking, we hit the danger zone when we drink too much water and take in more than what our kidneys can process in a hour. Once I figured I was drinking too much water I was able to make some awesome changes that made me feel so much better. Margaret McCartney in the British Medical Journal discusses research which reveals how drinking when not thirsty can impair concentration, rather than boost it. I actually had an app installed on my phone that reminded me to drink water when I was at work. Using that water drinking app, I realized that without it I would typically only drink 3 glasses of fluid a day, mostly tea. I always thought that water was really important especially if you have fluid retention problems- like me. Drinking too much water can lead to something called water intoxication (gives an all new image to getting drunk, huh) and drinking too much water can also result in the dilution of sodium in the body, which is known as hyponatremia.
The odds of you suffering from water intoxication is pretty slim, even if you drink a lot of water – so long as you are spreading out that intake over a larger amount of time. I will not only teach you the HOW of getting extreme results, but you are actually going to learn how to PREVENT FAILURE!
In general, 80% of the water we consume comes from plain water and other beverages (juice, coffee, soda, tea, etc.). But I usually still have a SMALL amount of water first thing in the morning because my body wants it.

An undiagnosed diabetic may have a blood sugar level of 600 and not know it, and their body’s way of diluting the sugar is excessive water consumption.
Water intoxication is not too common, but its mostly found in infants and sometimes in athletes. As you take in more and more water, the amount of sodium in the outside of the cell (the serum) drops. But after a week or so it became so much easier to actually know what my body needed and respond. A lot of the water we take in comes from food, so 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is a pretty common guideline for intake. When you drink excessive amounts of water, you can develop hyponatrmia (an electrolyte imbalance in which the level of sodium in your blood is abnormally low and can result in mild to serious health problems). Drinking too much water in rapid succession can prove fatal and should definitely be avoided. Water intoxication and the accompanying hyponatremia happens when a dehydrated person drinks too much water without the accompanying electrolytes. Raw milk or even adding a little salt to your water (place it under your tongue so you don’t get the icky salt water taste) may help.
We may not all need exactly 64 oz of plain water each day to maintain adequate hydration, but it is definitely wise to make water your drink of choice.
