Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred is my all time favourite and my number one recommendation to anyone who wants to get started on a regular workout regime. I absolutely love and swear by this video and I have already recommended it to tons of friends who have also enjoyed it thoroughly. The Beachbody team is known for creating some of the most challenging and hardcore workouts that have ever been put on DVD.
So if you’re fit enough to kick your workout up by a few notches, you have got to try Insanity. Since I also dance, do yoga, run and play tennis (I told you I love working out), I manage to do the Insanity programme only 3-4 times a week, but I started seeing results even on day 15 of the workout.


This workout video might look fun and frivolous on the surface, but it’s over an hour long.
If all the aforementioned videos are child’s play to you, I think you should try out this Mix Martial Arts workout. I’ve tried a number of workout videos in the past few years, and there are a lot of good ones out there. This workout consists of 3 levels of videos, each to be done for 10 days, and hence completed in 30 days.
Fitness instructor Shaun T created the Focus T25 workout video especially for those who say they don’t have the time to exercise. It doesn’t seem to be on DVD, so you can just note down and follow the routine in the video above.
From my own experience as well as from the reviews and ratings online, I have compiled a list of 5 of the best workout videos for you to choose from.


The Focus T25 workout is a 10-week programme where you work out for only 25 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week.
The DVD comes with 11 different videos, a resistance band (can be substituted with dumb bells), a workout calender and a nutrition guide. I’d say this is a good one-step-up from the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred workout video.
In each of the videos, there is also one person demonstrating easier modified versions of the exercises for those who might have any lower body injuries or who are having trouble keeping up with the high intensity version.
