Although I’m not sure the one depicted in the photo below is really a new stealth chopper like the one exposed by the Osama Bin Laden raid in May 2011, I find the following image extremely interesting. The image file seems to be genuine and includes seemigly valid EXIF data (see below for details). However, since it’s hard to believe that anyone would post a picture of a secret chopper online posing next to it, the helicopter in the image, with some typical stealth features (including an F-117 type of nose as the one designed in 1978 for the stealth UH-60), could just be a full scale model used for a movie. Don’t you think it has something in common with the famous Stealth Black Hawk design I made with Ugo Crisponi? It is a prop but is indeed as publicly described for the first version by a certain retiree.
The F-117’s craggy shape that is supposedly providing stealth capabilities has been replaced by more advanced coating and surface splines like on the F-35, has it not? Those boxes in the background could be anything, but they look suspiciously like the boxes that studio-grade movie cameras are stored and transported in. Weirdly the fact that the aircraft is actually a prop was clearly showed in the very first comments, but readers have continued to provide their interesting opinions. The solider in the picture is wearing a patch from the 29th Infantry Division of the US Army National Guard. The four probes on the leading edges of the F-117 are neither cannon nor antennae, but rather pitot probes, IIRC. The Soldier’s patch indicates he was from the 29th Infantry Division, a unit present in Afghanistan in the same location as the 160th SOAR(A), Kandahar airfield, during the OBL raid, but they returned before the photo was taken. As of 2011 every unit deploying to Afghanistan received a full RFI of OCP gear and were required to wear them in theatre. Thank you John, but if you read the article you’d know the fact it was a prop was determined in Aug.

The film is generally regarded as the first official Bond blockbuster as well as being the template for all future Bond films; it is usually credited with triggering what is known as the "James Bond craze". After a pre-titles "mini-adventure" in which James Bond destroys the base of a drug lord and defeats a thug in a bathroom brawl, the film proper begins in Miami with Bond foiling the plan of Goldfinger to cheat at gin, when he chats up the girl, Jill Masterson, who is watching the card game through a telescope. Bond bluffs his way out of being killed by the laser by pretending to know what 'Operation Grandslam' is that he overheard. Bond is chained to the small atomic device, and is able to free himself when Oddjob throws a guard down several stories next to Bond, and Bond retrieves the key. Bond then flies off to meet the President, but he finds that Goldfinger has hijacked the plane and is planning to fly to Cuba.
Yes I know there have been quite a few threads on this subject; I have searched around and people mainly just throw out ideas and I never see any real help.

I want to know who has the quietest exhaust setup: be it custom made, home-made, store bought, or whatever.
I don't think attaching an old car muffler is really an option I think it's too big and would really just look terrible, depending on what kind of kart you have. I have an 80's or older B&S that was missing lots of stock parts and the exhaust was fitted by the previous owner. I used the flange to build a straight pipe for my sons minibike - he had a close encounter with the PoPo so I decided it was time to go to the stealth mode. I run these RLV race mufflers on my karts, they're not ultra quiet but there pretty quiet and have a cool deep throaty sound. Much like Airwolf or Blue Thunder, they’ve taken a commercial design and prettied it up to correspond with what the movie-going audience would expect a stealth copter to look like. I don’t think they where involved with the actual mission for Bin Laden, but they might have been involved with the movie as extras, and got to take som behind the scenes photos? Meaning, this is a fake, or that Specialist is wrong as hell for being out of uniform on duty. The fact that he’s not in OCP (the Multicam pattern uniform) implies to me that he is not in country.
The film made cinematic history when it recaptured its production costs in record-setting time, despite a budget equal to that of the two preceding films combined. Bond and the girl have sex and afterwards, as Bond goes into the kitchen to get some fresh champagne, he is knocked unconscious by Goldfinger's henchman, Oddjob. While there he meets the sister of the girl who was killed at the start of the film, who tries to shoot Goldfinger with a sniper rifle although she is 'a lousy shot'. He is saved from being lasered, but is shot in the chest by a stun gun, and wakes up on Goldfinger's plane, where Pussy Galore introduces herself. Bond and Oddjob then battle it out, Bond throws his hat at Oddjob which misses but get stuck in some metal bars. After a struggle, Goldfinger fires his gun, breaking the window, and he is sucked out of the plane.
I think it would be nice to have a definitive answer to the best and quietest muffler setup because I know a lot of us want to run our karts in a residential area. I know Honda's are famously quiet engines stock but I need to make my engine quieter since I don't have the option of buying one new. I have one of those mufflers that I cut off the flange to use on another pipe - I will post a pic tomorrow - if you want it pay the postage and it yours. They're also about the only muffler approved for use on 4-cycle engines at racekart tracks. What’s the storyline – farmer builds stealth helicopter in his barn and goes out to fight crime? The shadows of the crates in the background are to the left, in line with the light issuing from the open hanger doors which are out of line of sight, while the soldier’s shadow is directly behind him, also suggests strong lighting from the front (another set of open hanger doors).

Goldfinger was also the second Bond film to use a pop star to sing the theme song during the titles, the first being "From Russia With Love, sung by British pop star Matt Monro.
When Bond comes to, he discovers that Jill has been covered with gold paint and she is dead.
Bond is chased around Goldfinger's factory by cars full of Asian men, and Bond using gadgets in his car to lose them, including the famous scene of the passenger side ejector seat, although he is finally brought to a stop by Oddjob's car with its bright yellow beams, and Bond crashes into a brick wall.
That would make the copter’s shadow, which is partly visible to the right, right on target. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, and was the first of four Bond films directed by Guy Hamilton. Every other Bond film would include a pop star song, except On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Later in London, Bond is told to investigate Goldfinger to discover his means of shipping gold internationally as Goldfinger is under suspicion of illegally smuggling his gold by Colonel Smithers who is in charge of the Bank of England. They are flying to Kentucky, where Bond is taken to Goldfinger's ranch where he races horses.
Bond prepares to defuse the bomb, and just before he is about to pull some wires, the bomb defuser has arrived, and turns the right switch, disarming the bomb with the clock reading '007' seconds remaining.
Bond goes to a golf course where he plays a round of golf with Goldfinger luring him with the prospect of getting a German gold bar from World War II era that Smithers supplied him with.
While there, Bond sees the plan of Goldfinger to attack Fort Knox, tries to drop a note off to the CIA by putting it in the pocket of one of the mob members who was going to help Goldfinger, although he ended up being shot by Oddjob and crushed when his car was crushed into a cube. Plus the sharpness of the edges of the nose doesn’t comply with the depth of field of the picture. He foils Goldfinger's cheating (although by switching the ball, he was cheating himself), and Goldfinger has to pay Bond.
Bond managed to convince Pussy Galore to change the nerve gas canisters in the planes about to attack Fort Knox with dummies, so that it has no effect on the soldiers there. And the edges of the soldier, especially of his right arm, are too crisp in relation to the heli. Also, the camera used has selectable focusing targets, so if one or several were either automatically or manually addressed to the nose of the copter, that would make it appear sharper than the arm of the soldier. As antennae, they should be pointing upwards on a design intended for NOE covert troop transport missions. Oddjob at this point shows his ability to throw his hat which cuts the head off a stone statue, then he crushes a golf ball in the palm of his hand.
In addition, the army are warned about the attack by Pussy, although this is not revealed until after Goldfinger has broken into the building, where they were all playing dead.
