Light and fan combo switch, replace ceiling fan reverse switch bypass,fc k?ln fanshop hamburg, hunter ceiling fan light switch problems - PDF Books

I am aiming to get the vanity light and the ceiling light on one switch, and the fan on a second switch.
Do you want to use a Double Toggle Switch or two separate switches to control the lights and fan independently? Either way like mentioned above you will need another 14-2 cable ran from the vanity wall fixture to the ceiling fixture.
I have read about switching the neutral to hot and then pigtailing that to the switches, and then running a black from one and a red from the other, but as you say, it seems that would only work if I didn't have the vanity connected. The other approach I might mention is the fact that on the opposite side of the same wall, there is an outlet running on a different breaker. Regardless, I see now that if I were to switch the whole works to that other breaker, it would face basically the same problem but in the reverse at the vanity. I was planning on having the outlet be a part of the same box as the two switches (it is a 3-gang box). I'm relatively new to this, and having trouble installing a new DewStop humidity sensor switch--which has connections for hot (black), fan (red) and neutral (white) wires--in place of the old switch--which worked, but used two hot black wires, one of which was linked from the other switch's hot black wire.

I've tried to diagram the switch box and my old and new configurations below, naming and labeling all six wires.
Ray2047, I've attached pictures of the two entry points you asked about (first photo is the top one; second is the bottom).
That just leaves white: does the white from the new switch connect to all three white wires that were previously bundled at the back of the box? I suspect the switch may be a dud, but before I give up, can you two brilliant wiring engineers think of anything I might be doing wrong that would make it stay on? Photos attached, but I should have clarified that it's not a combo switch--it has only two buttons: on and off, which together power both a light and a fan. Temporarily remove the new switch and replace with a single pole switch to check the operations with the current wiring. I had no problem getting a switch to work on the light, but the fan, of course, was not being switched, and would just stay on (not surprising).
Import charges previously quoted are subject to change if you increase you maximum bid amount. These switches are rated for 20 Amp service and allows separate switching of heater, fan, light, nightlight. I do have a multimeter--a Klein MM100 (seems digital?)--but I am not sure how to use it to answer this. I was trying to loosen the locknuts to try to see if the wires came from one or two cables, but the locknuts wouldn't budge, and I didn't want to go too far without making sure I'm on the right track.
If so you can take your meter, set it to AC voltage, place one probe on one black wire and the other to the box.

The one with two cables in the top picture and a single cable in the bottom picture that bottom cable should be you feed (power in). I would be happy if we could get this new switch to do the same, or to power just the fan (with the light that was linked to the fan joining the other light on Switch 1). If you reside in an EU member state besides UK, import VAT on this purchase is not recoverable. Bought it for my four function Panasonic fan: heater, lights, night light and ventilation fan. This is especially effective if you want the fan on to clear the air even when not using the shower.
I'm not sure which is easier, but for me it'll be a win just as long as it can manage its basic function of turning something on and off!
I assume he was feeding the neutrals back into the first breaker, and then keeping the switches for the remaining wires. The crank timer activates the heater, the pushbutton timer activates the ventilation fan, one switch controls the fan light and a shower light and the other switch controls the vanity light.
